THEN OFF ON AN EPIC WHIMSICAL AFTERNOON!

Following on from our Epic morning activities we enjoy a whimsical lunch in historical Pinjarra and then continue on our journey of discovery to the Edenvale Heritage Complex and step back in time and learn about an epic pioneering family who were amongst the first Europeans to settle in the Murray District around 1842. Overlooking the flats of the Murray River we are reminded of how we lived in the early days! We can sit and chat to the caretaker about the history of the cottages and their descendants, explore and look at the cottages and gardens. Feel the ambience of yesteryears!

Mandurah is WA’s largest regional coastal city in the Australian state of Western Australia, situated on the Peel Harvey Estuary approximately 72 kilometres (45 mi) south of the state capital, Perth. It is the state's favourite aquatic playground and the second-largest city, with a population of approximately 97,000, ahead of that of nearby Bunbury.

There’s a good reason Mandurah is such a popular destination. Mandjogoordap, translated to ‘meeting place of the heart,’ was given its name by regions first people, the Bindjareb people, who lived off the land, hunted, fished and gathered. A floating world detached from the bothers of life are the blue-green waters of Mandjar Bay.

The warm, friendly people, magnificent beaches, Estuary playground, teaming wildlife and fabulous mixture of culture, scenic views, entertainment and places to eat, give you a very good reason to visit too.

We’ll plan an Epic Day to take you out of your familiar world, to where the spirit and colors of Mandurah will come alive!
